SUMMER’S END JULEP

2 1/2 oz. Bourbon @michterswhiskey
1/2 oz. Mint Syrup @cocktailartists
Muddled Lavender
Mint leaves

Place bourbon and lavender sprigs in glass and muddle well. Strain into julep cup. Add mint syrup and ice and stir lightly. Line the cup with a couple mint leaves and top with more pebble ice. Garnish with mint sprig and lavender.

I know summers about over, but it’s never too late for a mint julep right? Nah, of course it’s not. Especially if it’s got some lavender spiciness in there too. The mint and lavender make an excellent combo with the bourbon for this strong and cooling end of summer tipple. Cheers!
