1/2 oz. Amaro
1/2 oz. Lime Juice
1/2 oz. Simple Syrup
3 Dashes Orange Bitters (@scrappysbitters)
Soda Water

Shake together ingredients except soda water. Strain into highball over ice. Top with soda water and garnish with orange trimmings

This is a delicious recipe that caught my eye when it was posted by @barrelageddad a while back and when I recently picked up a bottle of the 1000 Stories, I had to give it a whirl myself. Didn’t have any ginger liqueur on hand that he used, which was a bummer because that spice with the Zin sounded amazing. So instead went the more bitter herbal route with some Amaro, which still turned out super delicious. This definitely makes a great wine based low ABV sip for any occasion. Cheers to the weekend! 🥂
