Summer may be over but here is a recipe to keep those summer vibes going. I visited my bookmarks for the first time in a hot minute and had this recipe from @cheerstohappyhour marked from a while back. It sounded like quite the recipe and the green chartreuse sounded particularly interesting in a tiki drink. It adds some delicious herbaceous flavors in the background and goes extremely well with the rum, pineapple, and orange. And a bitters float isn’t something I’ve really played around with before so it was fun to see how it worked in a drink. I thought it would be more pronounced in the palette upon sipping, but it actually mixed perfectly while drinking it, adding a slight bitter top layer to the fruity and slightly herbal flavors underneath. If you’re missing summer already, sip on one of these and you’ll forget it’s even over. Cheers!
