1 oz. Cinnamon Liqueur
2 oz. Orange Pineapple Juice
1/2 oz. Lime Juice
4 Dashes Clove @infusebitters

Shake together with ice. Strain into glass over ice. Garnish with orange peel and cinnamon stick.

When it comes to fall inspired drinks, I’m sure most people tend to reach for the whiskey, bourbon, or scotch, myself included, but for this one I want to make a semi-tiki fall recipe with one of the delicious rums I was recently gifted from @martirums. The Dorado is similar to a spiced rum but is nice and sweet off the nose with hints of maple almost. I thought that would pair perfect with some cinnamon, orange, and clove. In all honesty I wasn’t sure how the pineapple flavor would play out, but it turns out that made it even better. The finished profile of this recipe is something like spiced apple pie (I know, weird with there being no apple in the recipe 😂) with hints of tart pineapple at the end. It’s really well balanced and everything I wanted out of a fall rum cocktail recipe. Cheers!
